Tubing Drain

The Type S Tubing Drain is designed to provide a means of draining the tubing string when removal of rods and rotor can not be achieved from a well conduit.

Recommended installation of drain to be placed as close as possible to the top end of the pump. Pressure activation of drain is controlled by the addition or removal of shear screws.

This tool also saves environment damage, caused by removal of a “Wet Tubing String”.
