Appleton™ explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof ECS Series breaker stations are available in 15, 20, 30 or 40 Amp, 24 Vac (maximum) units that are either single or two gang.

They provide protection and control of electrical apparatus and circuits in hazardous environments, either indoors or outdoors.

Ideal for controlling a small number of circuits in areas designated as Class/Zone 1.

The ECS Series breaker stations do not require typical panelboard enclosures.
Features
  • Explosionproof, dust-ignitionproof. Ideal for use in Class I/Zone 1 areas where flammable gases or vapors are present either continuously or intermittently
  • Corrosion resistant captive stainless steel hex-head bolts hold cover to body
  • Smooth rounded integral bushing in hub protects conductor insulation
  • Accurately tapped, tapered hubs for tight, rigid joints and ground continuity
