VAP Heated Pitot with Controller

The Integral Heated Pitot can be installed in clean-air or particulate-laden applications, and will typically still retain the accuracy of our original VAP^3® (±2%), even when installed in locations where ice buildup is present. 

The heating system integrates a heat tracing element into the pitot itself so that problems with ice buildup simply melt away. 

Because the pitots are not prone to freezing over, the surface area of the pitot is not affected by accuracy damaging or even flow measurement eliminating effects of ice buildup, and therefore, the accuracy of the Heated Pitot is unaffected by the onslaught of conditions like freezing rain, or even the extreme temperatures surrounding cooling towers.
