GasBreaker’s newest EFV, the Model 51, was developed as a solution for a major LDC in the northeast region.
Polyethylene service and EFV installations were being delayed by inspectors strict interpretation of acceptable visual criteria for butt fusion joints.
The Model 51 was developed as an alternate method to retain the EFV in the PE pipe.
The stainless steel sleeve is crimped over the PE pipe, reducing the inner diameter slightly to prevent the EFV from moving downstream.
Features- Eliminates a butt fusion joint in the service line
- Does not reduce the service line or EFV capacity
- Alternate to Model 41 universal EFV stick, suitable for all applications
- Sleeve is made from corrosion resistant 304 Stainless Steel
