The SIGNEXT-FM5/PLI/PE was designed to interface a loop-powered (2-Wire) 4-20 mA transmitter to a PLC/DCS Analog input. 

It combines the features of multiple terminal blocks in a single, compact module. 24 Vdc power to the transmitter is provided via a 100 mA 5 x 20 mm fuse (provided with the module). If shield cable is used there is provision for grounding the shield directly to the DIN rail. A make before-break test jack is provided so an ammeter can be quickly and easily inserted into the loop while testing or calibrating the loop.
