Rotary Shaft Deflector Seal (DS)

Rotary Shaft Deflector Seal (DS)

Brand: Parker Hannifin

Parker's DS Profile rotary shaft excluder seal, also known as a deflector seal, is designed to protect the primary lip seal by internally deflecting heavy oil surges or externally excluding dust, spray, and contamination.

Its materials of construction include the nonmetallic, Clipper® composite rubber/aramid fiber outer case, or “heel,” which forms a leak-free, press fit in the shaft, conforming to minor surface irregularities.

It is also available in homogenous rubber material.

The DS profile features the traditional Clipper® nonmetallic composite construction which is press-fit onto the shaft, for enhanced stability and optimal performance.
