An Air Admittance Valve (AAV) allows air to enter the drain when water is discharging, but otherwise remains closed thereby preventing the escape of odors when the system is static. This fitting can be used with the Endura flow control device in applications where it is not preferred or feasible to connect the air intake to the venting system of the building. Check with your local code for acceptance.
Features
  • Allows air to enter the drainage system while preventing sewer gases from escaping.
  • Only opens under negative pressure. Remaining closed if there is positive or ambient air pressure.
  • No external venting required.
