Low power operation allows enough energy to be scavenged from indirect sunlight by an internal solar panel to power the whole system.
Unlike typical transmitters, the JT400 has data logging and time-stamping capabilities that allow API-compliant once-per second measurement with 15-minute averaging of variables plus extensions.
The explosion-proof housing doubles as an antenna. Just rotate the display towards the receiving RTU for 1000-ft LOS range.
