Brand: Parker HannifinMedium pressure capable rotary shaft seals from Parker are designed to seal pressurized media in applications up to 200 psi running at shaft surface speeds to 4000 fpm (20.3 m/s).
Materials of construction include a rubbercovered OD metal case which provides improved OD sealing on bores with minor imperfections, and in soft alloy housings.
The garter spring keeps the elastomer lip in contact with the shaft during higher shaft speeds and also helps offset normally occurring compression set and wear of the lip material.
Double lip designs (TDN3, NTC4) feature a secondary dust lip for contaminant exclusion.
